Advocacy: Since 2016, StandardsWork has operated the Knowledge Matters Campaign, a growing national advocacy effort that advances the cause of literacy and the science of reading through a variety of communications strategies. We've celebrated the success of 50 school districts across the country as part of the Knowledge Matters School Tour, maintain a website that is a "go to" place for districts adopting literacy curricula, and provide professional learning opportunities through webinars and a podcast series that has had over 500,000 downloads in just three seasons. Telling the story of implementing high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) through video is a key strategy. Our In The Know blog publishes new content on a (roughly) bi-weekly basis. The Campaign is active on all major social media platforms, with a steadily increasing number of followers. We've recently launched an allied campaign, History Matters, to advocate for more and better elementary history instruction.
