Shrewsbury School Foundation Inc

Shrewsbury School foundation inc was formed in 1991 with the express purpose of receiving gifts and funding for Shrewsbury School(founded in 1552) in the uk, which is itself a uk registered charity. Gifts come from alumni who live here in the us. Grants are then made back to Shrewsbury schoolfor scholarships and bursaries (as they are called in the uk) to allow less privileged students attend the School. From time-to-time grants are also made for the development of extracurricular activities such as sports. The grant made in 2024 was unusual in size and was made specifically for scholarships.
