Our mission is to provide a safe, healthy, and child friendly environment for dc metropolitan area youths, primarily those residing in ward 8, experiencing neglect, homelessness, substance abuse or the like, as a means to encourage self-confidence,scholastic achievement and economic stability. Students enrolled at the center enjoy a home cooked meal, reading time, tutoring, and recreational activities. In addition, they receive hygiene products and access to the centers table of mine food pantry and clothing from our childrens closet. Student also take part in seasonal field trips to Washington, dcs cultural attractions. All of these services are provided to those enrolled at no cost to them or their families. Currently, enrollment is in excess of 100 and the students ages range from 4 yrs. To 18 yrs., in grade levels ranging from kindergarten to twelfth grade.
