The purpose of this organization is fraternal, patriotic, historical, educational and to preserve and strengthen comradery among its members; to assist worthy comrades, to perpetuate the memory and history of our dead and to assist their widows and orphans. To maintain true allegience to the government of the United States of America and to its constitution, flag and laws; to foster true patriotism; to maintain and defend the institution of American freedom, and to defend the United States from all her enemies, whomsover, to take gifts and device and purchase, own, hold, transfer, mortgage, and lease or rent real and personal property and to do all things necessary, essential, or convenient to carry on the activities, rehabilitation, welfare and social work of the post including the establishment and operation of recreation rooms and club facilities for the use and comfort of the members of the post, their families, and guests.
