The Young men's Christian association of the Virginia Peninsulas is a volunteer-led public charity that is committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We believe strong communities are possible only when we invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. The y has a long-standing track record and on the ground presence necessary to address our community's most pressing social issues related to youth, health and quality of life with a mission to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. We work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
