Readykids Inc

Readykids promotes kids' well-being through counseling, family support, and early learning opportunities. For over 100 years, we have served Charlottesville and the five surrounding counties with programs and services that respond to the changing needs of kids and families. In FY25, we impacted more than 5,300 kids, parents, and caregivers through our seven programs, and 94.6% of participants met targeted outcomes. Readykids uses an accrual based accounting system, which recognizes multi-year gifts in the years they were received. The current year financials reflect an environment where two multi year gifts were expiring simultaneously, resulting in a small deficit. This is offset by corresponding surpluses in prior years where the gifts were recognized. Over the last 5 years, Readykids has run a small surplus of roughly $128,000. This reflects our commitment to using gifts a presented, and managing finances and staffing correctly.
