The purpose of the school is to educate children regardless of race, nationality, sex, or religion in Japanese language, culture and tradition, including reading, writing, and mathematics; and to develop internationally-minded citizens with balanced and global perspectives; and to foster international friendship, and mutual understanding and cultural exchange between the United States and japan.
