The purpose of scan is to promote positive parenting, strengthen families, and help create a community that values and cares for its children. Through all of its programs, scan strives to provide the support, treatment, education, and advocacy needed to help build safe, stable, nurturing homes for children and to lessen the negative impact family violence and trauma have on victims, families, and the community at large.
