Virginia Association of Regional Jails

The purpose of the Virginia association of Regional Jails is to encourage mutual cooperation and assistance among the membership and the criminal justice community; improve the level of professionalism among the membership; improve communication and understanding among the membership and the criminal justice community; increase and improve the educational and intellectual level of the membership; promote legislative, executive, and judicial improvement; encourage the highest level of ethical conduct among the membership; and promote and uphold the appointed offices of Regional jail employees pursuant to the code of Virginia.
