The Mendota Community Association Is a grass roots Community based group dedicated to serving all who live in the Mendota area through innovative and targeted programs and activates. The MCA maintains a repurposed county elementary school building that houses a cafeteria, auditorium and classrooms which provides a central location to conduct programs, activities and events. The MCA promotes and supports recreation programs and activities which benefit our seniors in our Community through Alive 55. Activities that enrich the lives of our seniors by Socializing, Games and Meals. Special Events such as Biker's BBQ, Antique Car Show, Harvest Festival Days, Autumn Dinner and Christmas Music Night are conducted yearly. Due to Covid, participation is less than in years past.
