Our mission is to serve families in need of Furniture due to hardship. We are located in Gales Ferry, Connecticut, and serve all of Southeastern Connecticut. We purchase new beds with funds from grants, donations, and twice yearly tag sales and give them free of charge to people referred to us by social service agencies and churches. We also collect donated Furniture, although the rising cost of storage has required that we scale down this part of our operation. The people we serve are referred by about 60 State agencies, women's shelters, churches, and other organizations that help people in need. During Fiscal Year 2024, we were able to help 236 families. Donated Furniture and purchased cribs are stored in a locker at CubeSmart in Gales Ferry. The locker is is provided free of charge by the management, saving us about $6,000 per year in rental fees.
