Access Health Africa's medical service programming focuses on community-level interventions. Due to the decentralized nature of life in Malawi and the overburdened formal Health sector, effective interventions happen at the community level - where Access Health Africa excels at working. AHA specializes in community level work, psychosocial support, building local capacity, providing direct services, and education. At the local level we focus on Health knowledge, improving community structures and attitudes surrounding Health, direct service delivery, and Access to Health services and care.
