To develop and distribute welcome brochures for Old Town Bastrop among other promotional pieces, such as driving and walking guides, in addition to supporting various community events which promote local history, often preparing event specific promotion and information materials and an information web site. The otvc carries out these charges with a full time manager and volunteers. The center is open 7 days per week, welcoming Visitors not only from the Bastrop area, the state of Texas and many surrounding States, but also from many foreign countries.
