The Dyslexia center of the Pacific, inc. (dcp) is a public nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization in operation since july 26, 2004. The core of the services offered at dcp lie in improving a child's socio-emotional development by strenghtening their self-woth and tapping into the school, community and ohana (family) to achieve this. Our mission is to raise awareness and educate humanity about Dyslexia by providing educational workshops, Dyslexia screenings and testing, informational support, multi-sensory tutoring to empower children and adults in becoming independent, fluent learners in reading, writing, spelling, handwriting, and mathematics. To guide them to discover their individual talents and strenghts so they may gain lefe-long skills and become self-advocates. Dcp envisions a world where children and adults with Dyslexia radiate with their ability to read and soar with wisdom, kikaha me ka na'auao.
