The club provides training classes, open to its members and to the general public,in dog obedience, including basic obedience, competitive obedience, and rally. In addition, seminars are offered to the public and club members on dog-related topics, such as breeding, nutrition and training. The club also organizes an annual AKC approved, two day dog show. The event is held in Perry, Georgia at the Georgia National Fairgrounds on the second weekend in May. The public is invited to attend the show and admission is free. An entrance fee is required to enter a dog in the show.The club also holds monthly membership meetings which are also open to the public. The meetings are held to receive committee reports on the status of the club. Occasionally guests are invited to present a program at a monthly meeting. Regular meetings are held in all months except July and December. In those months, social events are held to recognize club accomplishments and to install new officers.
