Catholic Charities of South Georgia

Social apostolate of savannah (the organization), is a non-profit organization under the auspices of the Catholic diocese of savannah serving the poor, the homeless, the disabled, and the "at risk" of our society in witness to the biblical values of charity and justice in the city of savannah. The organization assists individuals and families in the greater savannah area through difficult situations with personalized support and direct aid. Direct services include a soup kitchen, clothing and personal care supplies, grocery assistance, prescription assistance and school uniform vouchers. It also offers a vital documents program to help people obtain certified birth certificates and ga ids, and work support services, both intended to empower individuals to become more economically self-sufficient.
