Louisiana Superdome Marketing and Promotional Fund

To market and promote the mercedes-benz Superdome and the New Orleans arena for all their intended uses and functions, to attract new and additional event activity to those facilities, to generate significant peripheral economic benefits from increased convention and tourist activity at these facilities and other facilities owned by the state of Louisiana and its political subdivisions, to support events, activities and projects beneficial, economically or otherwise, to these facilities or the state of Louisiana; and to engage in cooperative economic development activities intended to alleviate conditions of underemployment, unemployment and economic distress in the city of New Orleans.
