American Friends of Waterford Kamhlaba

To advance the mission of the Waterford Kamhlaba United world college of Southern Africa to provide quality education to economically disadvantaged students from the broad region of Southern Africa. Located in swaziland, a desperately poor country which has been ravaged by hiv/aids, Waterford provides a superb education to a large student population drawn from south Africa, botswana, mozambique, zimbabwe and other developing countries.although some students are supported by family funds and assistance from their respective governments, Waterford historically has had to rely on alumni support and strong international corporate and foundation philanthropic support.American Friends of Waterford Kamhlaba serves as the American outreach program for the school, lending financial support through contributions for general purposes and its scholarship program.
