The Mietoville Academy is a private Pure Land Learning Association for Buddhism studies and practice This is a self-organized volunteers-managed Buddhism practice organization and it is open to everyone who is willing and interested in learning and understanding Buddhism philosophies and practicing Buddhism and Mindfulness together with other members in the metro Atlanta area The organization offer practice on every Sundays It also invites Buddhism Masters from different countries and regions including Taiwan US Singapore Australia etc to lead retreat events for the members and public During the events we also invites the leading Master to give Dharma Talk For instance we invited Master Chang Le to lead the Seven Days of ChantingMeditation and One Day of Thrice Yearning Ceremony from August 4 to August 11 in 2024 The routine active participants on Sunday practice are usually between 25-35 and the participants for the retreat event can range from 50 to good 300
