The organization's primary purpose is to promote understanding, knowledge, tolerance and a sense of Community and shared humanity among the world's religions, including judaism, christianity, islam, buddhism, and the sikh religion. The organization helps participants to examine and understand common ground and to personally meet those of other faiths. The organization seeks to impact individuals of various faiths, in the belief that positive changes in societal attitudes at large begin with changes in the attitudes of individuals. The stated mission of the organization is "to create environments and opportunities for trust and friendship to develop through dialogue, activities and travel with the primary focus of building one-on-one relationships with persons of other faiths."
