Management and operation of historic rice plantation. Maintain its wetlands for all wildlife and maintain the historic rice fields in their orginal state. Tours of the plantation are available to churches, schools, and other public groups to tour and learn the history and importance. The foundation sponsors an annual bird count to record the species found in the wetlands maintained as part of the mission of the foundation. The foundation maintains the infrastructure including rice canals similar in design to the ones brought to the area as early as 1865.
