To encourage and engage in the research and study of the history and current operations of the Central of Georgia Railway & its related railways and to publish and disseminate information on these topics; and to encourage and engage in the collection, cataloguing, restoration, maintenance and display of materials and artifacts relating to these railroads and to promote knowledge and understanding of them.
