To educate all persons, especially the children, youth and young families of our nation in the fundamentals of democracy. To increase the knowledge of citizens concerning the nation's cultural heritage, constitutional form of government, and national, state and local history. To promote and encourage a program designated to "Honor America and respect the flag'. To promote an awareness of the great blessings of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness found in this great nation. To promote dedication and devotion of a free people to their country and to instill pride in American citizenship and the challenges faced by the constitutional government.
