The halifax area Lodging association is a business league of hotels as defined by code section 501 (c) (6), organized to promote common interest in the development of business conditions in the hotel/motel industry of the halifax area. The organization takes into consideration a study of various problems the industry has in its community. All revenue and expenditures of the organization are used to meet this purpose in the form of meeting, seminars, hotel/motel administration and scholarships at local colleges.
