NORTH Florida Area Conference Incorporated

Alcoholics anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and to recover from alcoholism. NORTH Florida Area Conference, inc. is comprised of districts and over 800 groups of alcoholics anonymous. Representatives of group districts attend quarterly assemblies where area committees provide information to enable the membership to "carry the message" to the still-suffering alcoholic. Accessibilities- this committee covers how to carry the message to those who have problems which limit their attendance at regular aa meetings and enlightens aa members and groups to the special needs of such people. Archives- this committee preserves and stores documents and other materials related to area history. Cooperation with the professional community- how to reach out to third party professionals (judges, probation officers, doctors, and clergy) so they can direct active alcoholics to alcoholics anonymo
