Korean WAR Veterans Association of Lake County Chapter 169 Inc

The mission of the Korean WAR Veterans Association (KWVA) Chapter 169, based in The Villages, Florida, is Centered on four core objectives as outlined on the official website: Veterans Welfare: to maintain a continuing interest in the welfare and rehabilitation of the Korean WAR and Korea Defense Veterans and their families. Veteran Assistance: to establish facilities that assist Veterans with claims before the Department of Veterans Affairs and other organizations. Provided at no charge. Preserving Comradeship: To perpetuate and Preserve the friendships born on the field of battle and through service to the United States. Honoring the Fallen: To honor the memory of those who gave their lives through living memorials and educational facilities. As one of the largest Chapter in the country , Chapter 169 also maintains a strong focus on community outreach through education of students and the public about the Korean WAR and awards annual scholarships to local students.
