Committed Citizens Of Waverly Inc

CCOW Inc. is a community based non-profit that promotes, volunteerism, self-help efforts, partnership development and collaborations, community education and development, financial literacy, community history preservation, beautification projects including Park and Community Clean Ups, Adopt A Park and Road Program and Great American Clean Up activities. Volunteers assist in researching and/or providing referrals to social service organizations and/or other community based providers, dissemination of information through community bulletin boards at local Post Office, Sunday Church/Community Announcements to churches in Waverly, door to door filer distribution to Waverly Residents, and participation in community meetings held in conjunction with the Polk County Sherriff Waverly COPS Unit to promote community partnerships to reduce and/or deter crime in the neighborhood. CCOW Inc. volunteers also support the organizations mission
