Alpha Kappa Mu National Honor Society

The mission of the organization is to promote high academic standards and recognize outstanding academic achievment. Students and qualifying institutions of higher learning may establish chapters and membership is also open to individuals meeting the eligibility requirements across a range of membership types, including collegiate, alumni, honorary, etc. to name a few. The chapters and individual members pay dues and assessments to the National organization. The National organization also raises revenue by selling merchandise with the organization's name and logo. The proceeds from these funds are used to provide scholarships and certificates of academic achievement to member students and to pay the general and administrative costs, and the costs of the biennial National convention of the organization. These activities have been conducted since the organizations inception. No changes are planned.
