Independence Place, inc. is a consumer-controlled community-based, cross- disability, nonresidential, private nonprofit agency that is designed and operated within a local community by individuals with disabilities and that provide an array of independent living services. Independence Place's mission is to assist people with disabilities to achieve their full potential for community inclusion through improving access, choice, and equal opportunity.
