Kentucky Association of Fire Chiefs Inc

The Kentucky assoc of Fire Chiefs advocates for the leaders of the ky fire service by providing education, information, unity, and support. The purpose, for which the association is organized, is to secure a closer official relationship among fire and fire based ems service officials throughout the commonwealth of ky; to secure unity of action in fire department matters; to evaluate the standard of fire departments in the fire and ems profession; to generally encourage advancement and the perfection of a uniform fire and ems system within the commonwealth of ky; to advance along all lines pertaingin to the prevention and detection of fires; to further educate and understand the emergency medical needs; and to encourage membership and affiliation of members of this body.
