2024 Tax accomplishmentsCHIs work in 2024 ranged from aiding the development of powerful documentary software tools for Cultural Heritage practitioners to the training, documentary projects, and consulting, which defines CHIs charitable mission. CHI continued its ongoing computational photography training programs for Cultural Heritage practitioners from a UNESCO World Heritage site, museums, libraries, universities, and both national and tribal governments. With the support of a National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) grant, CHI was able to provide requested assistance to three US indigenous communities in Maine, Hawaii, and Alaska to help their people to record climate-threatened Cultural materials. In March of 2022, CHI began work on the Advanced Imaging and Archiving Skills for Indigenous Communities NEH Grant. This work continued through 2024.
