KID Caregivers

KID Caregivers, inc is organized exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes. The purpose of the organization is to benefit youth involved in the caregiving of persons with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of Dementia in the following ways: a. To provide support to children that are acting as Caregivers for a family member with Alzheimer's disease or Dementia. The support offered is online and live support; b. To educate youth about Alzheimer's disease through speaking engagements, puppet shows, educational videos, visitations to schools, and girl scout troops; c. To collaborate and cooperate with other organizations devoted to similar purposes; d. To educate the public about these diseases, including the ways of benefiting persons who have these diseases; e. To offer peer-to peer support for children with family members who have Alzheimer's disease; f. To raise and disburse funds to help in these purposes; g. In such ways as the board of directors determine.
