The Association of Alabama Life Insurance Companies

To encourage and improve the business of Life Insurance to foster the discussion and dissemination of information with respect to such business to preserve and promote ethical standards in the conduct of such business to promote free competition in the Life Insurance business and to prevent monopolies or trusts in the conduct of the Life Insurance industry in the state of Alabama. To establish good fellowship and the interchange of business among its members all of the association's activities further the association's exempt purpose by contributing to the efficient operation of the members' business and by promoting ethical standards and competition in the industry, which benefits consumers. The association's activities were initiated in 1955 and are conducted by the officers, board members, and the association's membership.
