The purpose of the society is to promote the professional goals and professional development of persons in the state of Alabama who are engaged in the practice of financial analysis, teaching the practice of financial analysis, or supervising those engaged in the practice of financial analysis and provide education about, encourage adherence to, and enforce compliance with the code of ethics and standards of professional conduct of the association for investment management and research.
