Alabama Petroleum Equipment Contractors Association

We are an association for those who install repair and remove underground storage tanks. We hold classes providing Contractors with skills needed to install repair and remove underground storage tanks. We hold cathodic protection classes that teach how to test cathodic protection systems which prevents a tank with gasoline from corroding and leaking Petroleum into the ground. We provide Contractors and owners of gasoline stations with information to keep them in compliance with the Alabama Department of Agriculture Weights and Measures Division Nation Fire Protection Agency NFPA OSHA Federal Environmental Protection Agency and Alabama Department of Environmental Management along with other States. Through education we are protecting the environment and reducing the number of incidents on the underground storage tank trust fund accidents and fires. We inform and educate about the protection of the environment.
