Taniscot Engine Company

The newcastle fire company, inc provides firefighting protection for the town of newcastle, me and surrounding communities through interlocal agreements. We sponsor training programs and exercises in firefighting and emergency response for volunteer members. We also provide fire education to the public on fire safety throughout the year. Members raise finds for the purchase of equipment for the benefit of the town of newcastle, me and provide funding for prevention programs.
