KEN Onstad Benevolent Fund

To provide financial assistance to employees of the California department of forestry and fire protection (cdf), their dependents, and the retired employees of cdf and their dependants, who are stationed/employed in the tuolumne/calaveras ranger unit. The financial assistance shall be granted to these individuals in the event of a personal catastrophe such as, but not limited to, illness, death, travel or housing necessary due to illness or death, funeral expenses, & travel or housing necessary due to funeral issues. Financial assistance will also be granted annually for two employees requesting assistance for education costs to enhance their employment/promotional possibilities. Funds will be generated by voluntary individual contribution and fund raising events.
