AFSCME Local 910 represents approximately 100 paid members-Law Clerks and Research Attorneys employed by the Los Angeles Superior Court. The union's primary program service is protecting members rights through collective bargaining, contract enforcement, and advocacy. The largest program (measured by expenses) consisting of filing and pursuing Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) complaints, grievances, and related Legal actions against the Court to enforce collective bargaining agreements, address unfair labor practices, and safeguard wages, benefits, working conditions, and job protections for all represented employees. These efforts directly benefited the bargaining unit of approximately 100 members (plus any non-members in the unit covered by the contract). Additional activities include members communication, grievance processing, and internal union administration in support of those goals.
