Hindsville Rural Fire Dept

To provide fire protection to approximately 60-70 mile area to approximately 500-700 members. The agricultural area has several commercial chicken farms cattle farms crop farms private residences and on small town with an approximate population of 90 and a few small businesses and churches. There are also approximately 3 subdivisions which mostly house people working in the NW Arkansas metropolitan area of Fayetteville towards the south all the way north to Bella Vista as well as other areas. Highways 412 412B 45N 45S and 295 run through this department's coverage area which have intersections prone to accidents. There are several hundreds if not thousands of travelers that pass through this area to other destinations every day.
