River Region Environmental Association

The organization manages three ambient air monitoring stations for the ten current members and meet monthly to discuss equipment maintenance and data collection activities. The organization also provides a forum for exchange of envirnmental regulatory updates and compliance management discussion. We work closely with the louisiana department of Environmental quality on regulatory issues, like the new ozone and SO2 regulations and their impact on the parishes where our members are located.
