The foundation operates for the purpose of landconservation and for the promotion and advancement ofconservation, protection, and preservation purposes ofareas of land including but not limited to, pristine ornear pristine areas of land, marsh land, wetlands, andareas of the coastal zone located in louisiana and Texas.as of december 31, 2025, the foundation owned and managedover 28,404 acres of land for the preservation of alltypes of wild nature associated with the land. Thefoundation also works to establish and/or support naturalreserves and other protected, ecologically unique, andsensitive areas.
