Shelter and food security program contributions were awarded to 33 organizations. This initiative is by invitation only and the foundation worked closely with second harvest food bank to identify a suitable number of qualified food pantries and develop an application protocol, review threshold, and implementation model. Foundation representatives met with various partners and provided access to volunteers through our service learning celebration event. The foundation provided other services sometimes including meeting room access and community contacts. See detailed grant schedule
