To provide representation to its members in their dealings with employers. This may include collective bargaining activities, representation in disciplinary proceedings and grievances and consultation with individual muscians and groups of musicians regarding their relationships and dealings with employers and other purchasers of their services. The organization also provides referral services for individuals and groups who are marketing their skills and creativity to the public through advertising in Local media. Rehearsal facilities are provided at no cost to members to assist them in maintaining their skills and in developing programming for their audiences.
