Funk Educational Foundation

The Funk Educational Foundation, through its program called the Cattle Scholars of Homestead helps local students improve their skills in nurturing steers and engaging in competition. The Foundation maintains a barn and provides the cost of cattle, cattle care and other costs associated with showing a cattle, which is oftentimes too expensive for most students to participate in. The program gives students hands-on experience and guidance to develop their skills in the caring and showing of steers.
