House of delegates and the representative assembly of the nea(national education association); conduct elections for tsta when requested; promote communication, cooperation and leadership development within its membership; promote instructional improvement and professional development; work for due process and the welfare of members; promote consultation with local school boards; encourage the local chapter of the tsta; make recommendations to the tsta president; and take any action that is consistent with the purposes and philosophies of tsta/nea.
