The Fayette County Sheriff's Posse is an organization with the mission of fostering interest among its members in keeping alive the true traditions of the old west. The fscp (1) promotes good fellowship, good sportsmanship and a greater interest, both civic and social in its community, and (2) assists the Fayette County sheriff, upon request, for any emergency deemed necessary. The fsc promotes civic and educational programs and encourages the education and training of Fayette County youth, not only in the art of horsemanship, but also in the varied arts of citizenship, sportsmanship and everyday living.
