The United Neighborhood organization (uno) is established for the purpose of providing legal, educational and related assistance to the community at large, and in particular, to the immigrant community in Texas and New Mexico. Legal services will be provided in the form of representation before the immigration courts and the United States department of citizenship and immigration services (u.s. Cis). Legal immigration assistance shall also be provided for families and individuals who must complete their immigration related proceedings before the various u.s. Consulates throughout the world. Uno shall also provide education, educational materials and public service announcements and seminars, classes and other related educational activities to inform the community of necessary and important information regarding immigration law, policy and programs.
