Juvenile Justice Association of Texas

The Juvenile Justice Association of Texas is a professional association created to promote advocacy for Texas children by providing quality Juvenile services through professional development, education and training, identifying legislative initiatives that can help to accomplish these goals, and by providing leadership to carry out these goals. The association is comprised of professionals and practitioners in the field of Juvenile Justice. The purpose and and goals for which the organization was created are: 1. Promote unity among Juvenile Justice practitioners; 2. Identify legislative solutions to issues that affect the lives of Texas children; 3. Provide training to enhance the professional development of professionals; 4. Encourage the use of technology to enhance the delivery of services; 5. Promote research and evaluate studies to improve quality of services; 6. Increase public awareness of Juvenile Justice personnel; and 7. To be an advocate of Juvenile Justice personnel.
