The association is organized for the purposes of improving the business conditions in South Texas for the business of installing, providing contract Alarm services, and/or providing maintenance services in the electronic protection industry, and for those that supply such businesses, within the meaning of Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (the "Code"), and the Texas Tax Code, Section 11.18. In particular, the Association shall better advance the welfare of all members through the dissemination of information concerning trade practices, business conditions, technical developments and any and all related subjects of concern to the industry. The Association does not contemplate gain or profit, incidental or otherwise.
