The IVFD provides fire prevention by 1) extinguishing fires and 2) providing aid during various emergencies for the city of Ivanhoe and the surrounding areas including all of tyler county. Our mission at the IVFD is to protect lives, property, and the environment in our community through dedicated emergemcy repsonse, proactive fire prevention, and continuous education. We are committed to serving with integrity, courage, and compassion, striving to enhance safety and resilience within the community. Through teamwork, training, and unwavering commuynity support, we aim to make Ivanhoe a safer place for all.
